As Insurance Brokers, Atlantic Advisers Insurance Agency, Inc. receives fees and/or commissions directly from the placement of your insurance coverage. We may use other professionals to aid in the placement of your insurance, and in those cases it is not unusual for those third parties to also receive fees and/or commissions. In addition, we may receive contingent payments or extra commissions from some insurers that are not linked to any specific client but are based on our overall performance with respect to growth, retention, and loss experience for a particular insurer.

As Licensed Insurance Advisers, we can work with you and even your present insurance broker on a fee only basis to help you analyze your current and potential risk, and develop a strategy to insure or transfer that risk. It may be that you become comfortable with us and ask us to place your insurance coverage as brokers.  If that is the case, we are not permitted to charge a consulting fee and also collect fees and/or commissions for the same work.
